当前需要联网 — 主对话走云端 LLM 推理。本地能浏览历史卡片、本地搜索、做笔记，但聊天得在线。

未来计划支持本地小模型 fallback，断网时让 sift 能用一个轻量本地模型继续陪聊。还在开发。

Right now, online required for chat — the main conversation runs through cloud LLM inference. You can browse and search cards offline, write notes offline, but actual chat needs a connection.

A local small-model fallback is in the roadmap, so sift can keep you company on a flight. Not shipped yet.

In BYOK mode, sift only charges the subscription (the product, the memory layer). Token cost goes through your account. Heavy users save money this way.

走苹果机制按比例补差价——已付的部分按剩余天数抵扣到新套餐。手动算的话，PLUS 剩余天数 × 日均差价 = 抵扣金额。

升级即时生效，PRO 配额立刻可用。降级在下一个计费周期生效。

Apple's standard prorated upgrade — your remaining PLUS days get credited against the new PRO price. Roughly: (days left) × (daily price diff) = your credit.

Upgrade takes effect immediately, PRO quota is unlocked right away. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
